Hello everyone and welcome to our Sunday afternoon musical events.
We’re so excited to be able to interact with musicians again!
Our musicians have put together a program you’ll certainly appreciate as we gear up for a beautiful summer season. Today we’re celebrating Father’s Day, as well as our national holiday, which is just around the corner.
Two wonderful musicians are here to transport us into this jazzy universe.
Violinist, teacher, and co-founder of the Groupe Izanto agency, Isaac Jobin also has a solid background in jazz saxophone. He has performed on numerous stages here in Montréal as well as internationally. He also plays first violin with the Sinfonia de Lanaudière.
Professional guitarist Michaël Cotnoir performs in a wide variety of musical styles. He began by studying jazz, then immersed himself in the sounds of Latin America and Eastern Europe on his many travels. He developed expertise in the world of acoustic guitar and created his own sound.
He enjoys performing with different types of ensembles and is known as a passionate jack-of-all-trades with multiple influences.
Before turning things over to the artists for “Cette musique qui nous apaise,” we’d like to wish a very happy Father’s Day to all dads… We’re thinking of you on this beautiful summer’s day.
Have a wonderful day!
