We would like to inform you that 17 mature trees have been felled, including 3 in the main driveway and 14 on the perimeter of the cemetery.
This decision was made by the City of Montreal for the following reasons:
- Trees at the end of their life
Trees that have become dangerous
Ash disease
The trees have been uprooted, collected and their wood will be reused.
In the spring, we will begin planting new trees to maintain the character of our small cemetery.
